Sorry. I promised another review, and then got sidetracked. 

I've finally done so, and sent nits (but nothing substantive) off-list.

If the chairs kicked this off, I'd support it. (To be honest, I though there had already been a CFA and i'd supported it…)

It described a real need, and provides a well described and (IMO) good solution.
