A new mailing list has been created for discussion of a message submission protocol. This discussion formerly took place on this list (IETF-SMTP), but now, thanks to Paul Hoffman of the IMC, we have our own list (and archives). The latest draft is draft-gellens-submit-02.txt, available via ftp://ds.internic.net/internet-drafts/draft-gellens-submit-02.txt (-02 still points discussion at the IETF-SMTP list). To subscribe to the ietf-submit mailing list, send a message to: ietf-submit-request@imc.org with the single word subscribe in the body of the message. The list will accept subscriptions now, but will start officially on December 17. The Web site for the list, which will include an archive of the mailing list and the relevant drafts, is <<http://www.imc.org/ietf-submit/>.
