The IESG has approved the Internet-Draft "Definitions of Managed Objects for APPN" <draft-ietf-snanau-appnmib-04.txt> as a Proposed Standard. This document is the product of the SNA NAU Services MIB Working Group. The IESG contact person is Joel Halpern. Technical Summary This specification defines an extension to the Management Information Base (MIB) for use with SNMP-based network management. In particular, it defines objects for monitoring and controlling network devices with APPN (Advanced Peer-to-Peer Networking) capabilities. This memo specifies a MIB module in a manner that is both compliant to the SNMPv2 SMI, and semantically identical to the SNMPv1 definitions. Working Group Summary This document reflects the consensus of the working group. There were no issues raised during the last call. Protocol Quality This MIB was reviewed by Randy Presuhn and Deirdre Kostick.
