Subject: NMS discussion list

Network Managers was created in 1990 from the former
network management department of Retix Inc.

We pride ourselves on being hardware, platform, and
protocol independent and have been very successful
in creating symbiotic partnerships in the NMS area.

One of our founders and system architect (Roger Booth
roger@netmgrs.co.uk) is currently writing a proposed
charter for above-mentioned mailing list. He expects
this to be ready in about a week.

Ben Gamble, our system administrator, could set up the
mailing list, but his UNIX-guru-like skills have reached
a temporary hitch.

In short, we feel that there is a real demand for a
discussion list focussing on the manager end of network
management (and not on the agent end).

If you have experience in creating such a mailing list,
please inform Ben (brg@netmgrs.co.uk) and with luck we
could be running in a couple of weeks.

Thanks for your support
