Jeff,

Thanks to an incredibly efficient publisher, the book is based on the final 
RFC versions of the SNMPv2 documents, including all the late security stuff 
such as contexts, etc. A lot of late updates were made but, believe it or not, 
the one item we missed was that comment about the "internet draft stage."

As to the discussion of gauges, the book points out that there was no 
consensus on the true meaning of "latch" in SNMPv1, and then provides the 
official definition of gauges for SNMPv2.
