My understanding is:

	1.Linux/UCDSNMP/SMUX support: YES,
	2.Linux/GateD without MIB support:	YES.
	3.FreeBSD/GateD with MIB support/SMUX:	YES.
4.Linux/GateD with MIB support/SMUX:	NOT SURE.

This implies that you could have a Linux SNMP agent talking SMUX to a FreeBSD
GateD. But, I have not heard anybody compiling the whole GateD (including the
MIB part and SMUX) under LINUX. (This implies that you need to first compile
many things in ISODE-8.0 under Linux.)

I could be wrong. If anyone has done #4, please speak out.
