Hi all,

The NomCom is extending the nominations period for the ART Area Director (AD) position to 28 October 2025.

We are nearing the extended deadline for nominations for other open positions and already have several nominees for each. While additional nominations are always welcome, it is also time for us to begin announcing nominees and seeking community feedback.

However, the NomCom currently does not have enough nominees to fill the open ART AD position. We have received a few nominations, but as of today, none of the nominees have accepted. As we did two years ago, we are therefore extending the nominations period for this position until the week before the start of the IETF meeting in November.

Please consider nominating qualified candidates for this important position. Self-nominations are also welcome. Equally important, if you have been nominated, please consider accepting the nomination.

Nomination here: https://datatracker.ietf.org/nomcom/2025/nominate/

Thank you,

Benno
