By happy coincidence, the annual Folklore Society Katharine Briggs lecture takes place in London during IETF week. This year, it will be delivered by Katherine Langrish. She is well worth listening to. She says she will be talking about "folktales, fairy tales; all kinds of stories, and the power they have for good and ill." It will be at the Conway Hall in Red Lion Square. Attendance is open and free, but booking is needed. https://folklore-society.com/event/the-katharine-briggs-lecture-and-book-awa rd-2022/ Cheers, Adrian
