Hello, David,

There is a fairly lengthy discussion of the security implications of TCP
timestamps and large windows in the document I authored for UK CPNI
(available at http://www.gont.com.ar/papers) This document has also
resulted in an IETF I-D (draft-gont-tcp-security-00.txt). So I guess
that a small excerpt of what is there, and a pointer, would complete the
security considerations section of rfc1323bis.

Thanks!

Kind regards,
