Jari,

              Okay, I have the tools  (sort of) working (I had to jury-rig a few environment variables on my Mac).

              I ran “make” and it nicely created a “.txt” file.  We probably want to settle on a better name than “draft-framework.txt” – but that will do for a tiny little while.  😊

              “Upload Files” is disabled on GitHub, so how do I push the “.txt” file?  How do I replace it with a subsequent version (without changing the name, for example, by bumping the revision number)?

I’ve finally managed to set up the framework draft compilation correctly. Struggled with some newer versions of tools. But the one I recommend and the associated makefiles work.

See the readme at https://github.com/teas-wg/teas-ns-dt/tree/master/framework for instructions; you’ll need to install make, kramdown-rfc2629, and xml2rfc but there are instructions. Then type make and the system compiles the .md to .txt automatically.
