First things first, we absolutely will include sufficient number of authors (and contributors, if we run out of author list space) that significantly contributed to the work. And as it looks now, there’s a significant contribution in terms of some pieces of texts and concepts from the VPN draft.

That being said, I think the framework text that we have today is maybe 15% ready so lets also leave some room for whatever comes still.

Can I suggest that we two do things?

  * Add a section in the draft that lists current contributors (marked “potential authors/contributors”, for instance). This list should include the VPN+ draft authors.
  * Focus on the substance and the remaining 85%; figuring out what it makes sense to say in this document, and what its role is in comparison to other documents (including but not limited the VPN+ one)

And then we’re done, we review the new section and update the final list of authors and contributors.

Makes sense?
