Current Status:

-          Published revision -14 on July 12, 2021

-          Addressed all the pending technical issues:

o   restoration scheme

o   protection and restoration properties moved under secondary path

o   support for bidirectional paths with asymmetric properties (alignment with te-tunnel model)

o   clarified scenarios of a te-tunnel with only one path (alignment with te-tunnel model)

-          Addressed Tom Petch's comments (Thanks Tom)


Next steps:

-          move few common groupings to ietf-te-types or ietf-te

-          add security considerations

-          remove appendix A (considered no more needed)

-          add examples

-          WG LC after completing the above
