Alia Atlas has entered the following ballot position for draft-ietf-teas-rsvp-ingress-protection-16: Abstain When responding, please keep the subject line intact and reply to all email addresses included in the To and CC lines. (Feel free to cut this introductory paragraph, however.) Please refer to https://www.ietf.org/iesg/statement/discuss-criteria.html for more information about IESG DISCUSS and COMMENT positions. The document, along with other ballot positions, can be found here: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-teas-rsvp-ingress-protection/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- COMMENT: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I was involved in earlier versions of this document before becoming an AD. I completely understand the WG wishing to get it off their plate and Experimental is a reasonable way of doing that. It is still disappointing that after 4+ years, there is no interest in actual implementations or comparing the two approaches quantitatively. There has simply not been good discussion.
