Subject: RE: [Teas] Working group last call: draft-ietf-teas-rfc8776-update-10

Hi chairs, WG,

I have 2 additional comments to leave for this WG LC:

  1. In the grouping label-restriction-info there is a leaf data node that deserves an update in the description to better clarify the semantic on the usage of the set of bit-position.
The proposed description is also already proposed in the github https://github.com/tsaad-dev/te/issues/100 .
Here the proposed update:
"In case the restriction is 'inclusive', the bit-position is set if the corresponding mapped label is available. In this case, if the range-bitmap is not present, all the labels in the range are available.
In case the restriction is 'exclusive', the bit-position is set if the corresponding mapped label is not available. In this case, if the range-bitmap is not present, all the labels in the range are not available."

  1. Proposed definitions for the 2 identities path-tiebreaker-minfill and path-tiebreaker-maxfill:
Proposed definitions:

  * min-Fill selects the path with most available bandwidth (load balance LSPs over more links)
  * max-Fill selects the path with less available bandwidth (packing more LSPs over few links)
The available bandwidth of a path is the minimum of the available BW for all the links along the path.
Thanks
Sergio

Hi Oscar, WG,

I found an issue in section 3.1 where te-node-id description is not aligned with the new typedef supporting also IPV6 format .
Provided that authors can fix this misalignment I've reviewed this document and believe it is ready for publication.

Thanks
Sergio
