Hi WG, We have submitted an updated version of draft-liu-transport-network-slice-yang to address the comments received from the WG and offline, including, - Reduced the number of frontpage authors to 5 to follow the IETF draft guidelines - Updated terminology to RFC 9543 network slice and also the reference - Move ACTN-VN vs. NS relationship & consideration to appendix - Fixed some nits and typos With the above updates the authors believe that this document is stable and is ready for WG adoption. We look forward to further discussions and comments. Thanks, Aihua (on behalf of the co-authors and contributors) ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: <internet-drafts@ietf.org> Date: Tue, Oct 15, 2024 at 1:37 PM Subject: New Version Notification for draft-liu-teas-transport-network-slice-yang-11.txt To: Luis M. Name: draft-liu-teas-transport-network-slice-yang Revision: 11 Title: IETF Network Slice Topology YANG Data Model Date: 2024-10-16 Group: Individual Submission Pages: 37 URL: https://www.ietf.org/archive/id/draft-liu-teas-transport-network-slice-yang-11.txt Status: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-liu-teas-transport-network-slice-yang/ HTMLized: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/draft-liu-teas-transport-network-slice-yang Diff: https://author-tools.ietf.org/iddiff?url2=draft-liu-teas-transport-network-slice-yang-11 Abstract: An RFC 9543 network slice customer may utilize intent-based topologies to express resource reservation intentions within the provider's network. These customer-defined intent topologies allow customers to request shared resources for future connections that can be flexibly allocated and customized. Additionally, they provide an extensive level of control over underlay service paths within the network slice. This document describes a YANG data model for expressing customer intent topologies which can be used to enhance the RFC 9543 Network Slice Services in specific use cases, such as Network wholesale scenarios, where both topology and connectivity intents need to be expressed.
