Dear all,

Following the agreements in Bangkok IETF meeting, a new revision of draft-dong-teas-enhanced-vpn is uploaded, in which two ACTN related drafts (draft-lee-rtgwg-actn-applicability-enhanced-vpn and draft-king-teas-applicability-actn-slicing) are merged in as subsections. We also added some clarifications about the terms VPN, enhanced VPN, VN and network slicing.

After the merge, this document provides a complete architecture of enhanced VPN service. The authors would like to request the chairs to initiate the WG adoption poll on this document. Thanks.

Best regards,
Jie (on behalf of coauthors)

Subject: New Version Notification for draft-dong-teas-enhanced-vpn-03.txt

A new version of I-D, draft-dong-teas-enhanced-vpn-03.txt
has been successfully submitted by Jie Dong and posted to the IETF repository.

Name: draft-dong-teas-enhanced-vpn
Revision:	03
Title: A Framework for Enhanced Virtual Private Networks (VPN+) Service
Document date:	2018-11-15
Group: Individual Submission
Pages: 36

Diff: https://www.ietf.org/rfcdiff?url2=draft-dong-teas-enhanced-vpn-03

This document specifies a framework for using existing, modified and
potential new networking technologies as components to provide an
Enhanced Virtual Private Networks (VPN+) service. The purpose is to
enable VPNs to support the needs of new applications, particularly
applications that are associated with 5G services. Typically, VPN+
can be used to form the underpinning of network slicing, but will
also be of use in its own right.

Please note that it may take a couple of minutes from the time of submission until the htmlized version and diff are available at tools.ietf.org.
