Hi Brian,
Re Articles of Incorporation: yes, those are required.  I view the creation and filing of that document as a purely administrative process.  My expectation is that we will use the minimum required (name, purpose, structure (non-stock non-profit), BoD/incorporators, contact info).  When drafting, I expect we/counsel will copy whatever can be copied from the Bylaws, have counsel draft the remainder, and file it with the Bylaws attached.
