The requirement is "specification required," and the GitHub repo, with extensive doxygen comments, seems to meet the requirement, at least for me. I would be concerned about that URL going away, I suppose.

Yes, an exporter with a fixed prefix, like "EXPORTER-OpenVPN-" will avoid collisions.
