Watson, Please stop the personal attacks. The IETF published the TLS RFCs after the IETF consensus process is run. That process includes the WG reaching consensus (sometimes rough), the wider IETF community reaching consensus, and the entire IESG reviewing the WG’s specification. Ownership of any failings is to be shared by a very wide community. spt (as chair)
