It's more correctness than style. I think it's quite on-topic considering that this WG is about a protocol for communications which must be perfect. Chopping up quotes below the level of whole sentences is not real helpful for productive discussions. It's like some sort of fragmentation attack. This whole discussion could be some sort of meta-recapitulation of the discussions we've had about the semantics of SCSV. Perhaps it foreshadows something positive? - Marsh
