When you say "this", do you mean hosting fonts or updating existing files to include a functioning set of fonts?

BTW, https://fonts.googleapis.com/css2?family=Noto+Sans:ital,wght@0,100..900;1,100..900&display=swap would be a better URL.  The font they serve there is fully variable.  However, that doesn't allow you to adjust if that URL goes away though and it seems like that's a risk.
