I installed the MacOS client, purely so that i can "command tab" quickly to the
zulip window (please tell me there is a hack how to have individual browser windows
show up as unique icons in that GUI selection method).

Compared to jabber, i am missing the notion of who is "active" in a stream,
or i have not found it. Zulip does does show active/idle/not-logged-in, but
seemingly only for the whole server (ietf.zulip.org), not individual streams as
jabber does it.

Cheers
