I think that the Propose Slides button only shows up if one is logged in.

While the situations where the DT logs people out has gotten MUCH better in
the past year or so, it still does happen to people, and it's not always
obvious that it occured. (Happened again today for DRIP contributor)

While there are a lot of buttons that are WG-chair-only or AD-only and
showing them would confuse people, I think that any button/etc. that is for
general participants should be always shown, even if grey out. Better if it
causes a redirect through login process, but a hover that says "please login"
would be enough.

I know that we've gone through this a few times, I'm not sure if we
established a clear policy one way or another...

----

In DRIP we then tried to go to share-my-screen, but people were confused with
share-slides request. I think that the share-slides dialogue should
probably have a share-screen button.

The process of having a participant *ask* for slide/screen control, and then
chairs approve it continues to be a source of significant friction in
meetings. I wish for chairs to be able to pre-approve people to do that
stuff.

(Well, I would completely change how this works: let anyone share either
thing as they wish, and have chairs decide which person gets to occupy the
group sharing slot. This lets people get ready for their slot, but also it
allows for rapid switching between views. Like slides/diagrams vs github
issue sharing)
