Cmon, Joe, the connection block is a superset of everything, every TCP
implementer knows that. Now, *some* implementations would save memory by
freeing the TCB before entering the TIME-WAIT and hold a micro-TCB (or
whatever you call it as) to identify the "connection" and the connection
identifier is the socket-pair (4 tuple)
