[hp-wan] New Non-WG Mailing List: hp-wan (High Performance Wide Area Networks)
IETF Secretariat <ietf-secretariat@ietf.org> Tue, 13 August 2024 20:07 UTCShow header
A new IETF non-working group email list has been created.

List address: hp-wan@ietf.orgArchive: https://mailarchive.ietf.org/arch/browse/hp-wan/To subscribe: https://mailman3.ietf.org/mailman3/lists/hp-wan.ietf.org/Purpose:
High Performance Wide Area Networks (HP-WANs) are used for research and academic services, and increasingly corporations and other types of big data and massive data set applications. In all cases HP-WANs require ultra-high bandwidth utilization, ultra-low packet loss ratio, effective high-throughput transmission, and resilience.

This mailing list is dedicated to the exchange of knowledge, insights, use cases and requirements to the design, implementation, and optimization of connectivity across High Performance WANs. It is not intended to discuss the requirements placed on the data center or challenges of intra-DC connectivity of low-latency services.

This list belongs to IETF area: WIT
