Hi,

While browsing through the sports section of today's
Philadelphia Inquirer, I was shaken from my drowsy
state by the following byline:

"SIPP ends efforts in new state"

My first reaction was "why the sports section?",
acknowledging almost mechanically that there would
indeed be a new state. I was merely curious why
the article was published beside one describing
gymnastics at the Goodwill games and not in
the Business or Focus sections (or, for that matter,
Entertainment).

It turns out that there is a racehorse trainer who
engaged in enough illicit activities that he'd
been barred from racing in PA (and NJ, DE, ...). He'd
slipped past the Ohio license folks for a whopping
one week before they revoked his license, thus "Sipp"
was *forced* to end efforts in new state.
