Dave,

We certainly all want to hear the details.  The fundamental issue that
Christina is illuminating is that there are many people who participate
in the IETF but have not been part of the IPng deliberations.
Documents, such as IDs,  detailing the rationale of the recommendations
would be a good way of further opening  up and engaging the overall
membership of the IETF.

My understanding is that such a document is forthcoming from the directorate.

Also, given the complexity of the topics being covered, for many (both
native and non-native english speakers) an electronic version  of the 
report may be preferable to an oral one.  It also helps
those people who will be unable to attend the Totonto meeting.
