Hi:
Got "ucp@nic.near.net" from Mr. Dale Johnson (Trouble Ticket-
RFC 1297) as a discussion list which could help me answering a few
questions. I'm curious to know what this list is for also.
Anyway, I wonder if there is any "specimen" of
NOC-supporting applications, which reacts automatically to incoming
traps and events for problem solving. These applications are not supposed
to be any actual EXPERT system. I've heard of an application like this
at Carnegie-Mellon University, but haven't got any connections therein
unfortunately to talk about.
Once in touch with people involved with such application, I'd like
to discuss some points of view. I would like to know examples of problems
which could be handled automatically, for instance.
Well, this is all. Hope there is any helping voice out there.
Regards,
Ewerton.
