I usually lose this argument, but I think you'd be better off with a single scheme, 'sip:' and a decoration that said whether you wanted UDP or TCP or whatever. Among other things, you might imagine a proxy/gateway or whatever that would just key off the sip: instead. Larry -- http://www.parc.xerox.com/masinter
