FYI: The proposed NFS URL scheme is now available as
an Internet-Draft:

   http://ds0.internic.net/internet-drafts/draft-callaghan-url-nfs-00.txt

Following comments from Larry Masinter and Harald Alvestrand, the
scheme has been modified to conform more closely to the requirements
of RFC 1808 for a slash-separated path for reliable handling of
relative URLs.
