If we can converge on some advice, I think it would be appropriate to
give it.

i.e., as a group, do we have a take on what'd be the most appropriate
thing to do wrt fragments?

Documenting this issue is good, but not giving any advice looks a bit
like hand-washing (or whatever you use in English for referring to the
act of not doing anything about something that deserves it :-) ).
