I support this document moving forward.

Nevertheless, I think it needs to be clarified how it relates to RFC7084.
The abstract says it updates RFC7084, but there is no updates metadata in
the header.

Does it replace or supplement the LAN requirements of RFC7084? For example
LPD-2 seems to duplicate L-2, which implies it replaces the LAN
requirements of RFC7084. But then other LAN requirements from RFC7084 seem
to be missing.

I think it should be much more explicit how these new requirements
integrate with RFC7084’s requirements.
