That's the point. My way to explain IPv6-only and IPv4aaS and a good IPv6 deployment in trainings is "you don't want to break anything at the client side (they should not notice anything different), so you need to keep dual-stack in the LANs as much as you can, and then use IPv6-only with IPv4aaS in the access network".

It is a matter of stating the "context" of the IPv6-only.

    That isn't clear to me. Maybe I am biased because of the model
    described by https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc6264.
    (I'm definitely biased because of RFC1671 too ;-)

    Good stuff. My definition of dual-stack *from the user's point of view*
    is that as long as both AF_INET and AF_INET6 work, i.e. the host can use
    both A and AAAA records, the network is dual stack. The user doesn't
    care how the ISP and the CE router delivers this.
