Barbara,

When I've used Meetecho (to watch and not present, which is what most
Meetecho people do), I don't remember ever logging in. Do people have to
log in?

You have to log in (using your IETF registration number) if you wish to be
a remote participant (as opposed to observer). Logging in adds you to the
remote blue sheet and gives you the ability to raise your hand and speak
remotely, and type into Jabber. Otherwise it's just watch only.

If you accept cookies in your browser, you only need to log in the first
time you use it for a particular IETF meeting, and Meetecho remembers you
for subsequent sessions.

Cheers,
Andy
