In case you don't follow ietf-announce: (Reply-To: tools-discuss@ietf.org). -------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: Removing mailing list mirrors in Zulip Date: Wed, 21 Sep 2022 09:17:53 -0500 From: Robert Sparks <rjsparks@nostrum.com> Reply-To: tools-discuss <tools-discuss@ietf.org> To: ietf-announce@ietf.org We are making a change to the Zulip service plan and the configuration of the zulip.ietf.org service. To date, we have been configuring Zulip with a stream that ingests the mailing list for each group. It has effectively created a second, partial, archive of the WG mailing list in the Zulip database, which is problematic for operations and integrity. The IESG has directed the tools team to work towards only having a single archive to facilitate administration and ensure integrity of that archive. As such, we will be removing the mailing list mirror streams in our zulip instance in the next few days. Please send any comments to tools-discuss@ietf.org.
