I find myself making points in Zulip that I might have said at the mic in
the past, but which seemed better suited for "here's a thought for
consideration; no particular need to consume airtime to do so." Extended
discussion should maybe be nudged toward the mic by the chairs or other
participants in the chat.

Maybe if you have perfect vision and are sitting in the first few rows. I
can barely read the slides half the time without squinting.

Everyone has a laptop or phone with them and has the ability to join the
chat. AFAICT, this is largely a matter of people understanding how our
participation expectations have changed.
