Hi Chairs,

Thanks for putting together the interim. Although I regretfully miss the call due to timezone differences, I support the WG to work on this topic, as I supported on many previous interims and side meetings. NHI management is becoming increasingly important for perimeter security. Some of the sections mentioned in this draft like 9.7.  Human in the Loop  has also been specified in details in our draft https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ni-wimse-ai-agent-identity/
Some of other works like cross-domain transaction tokens or batch authorization is also brewing, hopefully to submit before Vienna cutoff.

Hopefully this helps with supplying potential solutions to the requirements mentioned by the authors.

Thank you to everyone who joined the Interim yesterday. Recordings and notes are available from our WG website (https://ietf-wg-wimse.github.io/)

At the interim, there was significant positive interest in the topic presented by the authors of https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-klrc-aiagent-auth/01/ . The chairs are requesting feedback on the problem statement of agent identity in the context of workloads, and whether this is a problem that we want to potentially address in WIMSE. The chairs would also like feedback on whether the direction or solution proposed in the draft is, more or less, heading in the right direction. We are not looking for feedback on the draft itself or whether the draft has a complete solution in hand.

Please provide your feedback to the list by June 19, 2026.

This is not a formal call for adoption at this time, as we (as a WG) need to push more things out the door before we take on additional active work. That said, the chairs strongly encourage discussion of this work on the WIMSE list.
