I would in such a case still be interested to know what role such a 'virtual
ADMD' would play and why you would need it?

Is it the question of forwarding a message from a X.400 MTA (prmd and/or
admd) over Internet to access a 'prmd-rfc-1006 X.400 host' (X.400/Internet
MTA), and to select that protocol stack, instead of mapping X.400 to SMTP
and/or MIME?

Would there in such a case also be some sort of 'directory support' fvr
admd=imx?

Is there a draft-rfc or any other document available, defining this type of
'Interworking'?
