OK.  I will see what I can get out of this.  Just looking at the XML 
editing start page...

I have been using GEANY for a lot of years.  I really like its handling 
of XML.  No special IETF addins, just its XML features.

And I use the xml2rfc command line tool  to locally build my txt. And 
see if there are errors in my XML.  Then view the txt in my browser and 
perhaps use iddiff to compare to the prior version.
