Lets just agree to disagree. I count myself in the camp of those
operators who believe that 100% portable device configurations are an
ideal that will never ever happen.

For me, the mission is to find agreement on a standard protocol to
exchange configuration data, a standard data modeling language for
standard and proprietary configuration data models and with some luck
a few widely adopted standard configuration data models.
