The goal of the = * workshop is to familiarize DNS administrators with new security = * extensions as they are present in BIND. Our target audience are = * adminstrators and operators of .gov domains (including contractors). * * This will be a "hands-on" workshop where participants will be setting up = * and running a secure DNS tree during the workshop. The basic subject = * matter for the workshop will be: * - introduction on the new DNS security extensions * - how to secure a zone using the BIND 9 DNSSEC utilities * - how to set up a secure server * - how to secure zone transfers between servers * * The workshop will be limited to 30 participants and cover two days. = * Participants must have working knowledge of DNS and BIND DNS server = * software.
