Purpose: For information

Body: ITU-T Study Group 11 would like to thank all organizations for the LSs on the issues related to the draft Recommendation ITU-T Q.3961 “Testing methodologies of Internet related performance measurements including e2e bit rate within the fixed and mobile operator's networks”, which deals with Internet related performance measurements.

Taking this opportunity, ITU-T SG11 would like to inform you that, at its latest meeting (Geneva, 16-25 October 2019), ITU-T SG11 converted the ongoing draft Recommendation ITU-T Q.3961 to non-normative Supplement 71 to ITU-T Q-series of Recommendations “Testing methodologies of Internet related performance measurements including e2e bit rate within the fixed and mobile operator’s networks”, which was finally agreed at this meeting.

This decision was taken according to the received Contribution and outcomes of Q9/11 discussions.

ITU-T SG11 would like to continue collaborating on the future related subjects with all interested stakeholders and SDOs. In this regard, we would be pleased to arrange an open discussion of the future activities and work items at the following next SG11 meetings, including interim rapporteur meetings
