I went through the immigration in T4 yesterday when coming back from Malaysia (T4 is supposed to be the "low cost" terminal, though it's still more luxurious than any European airport). Same smooth experience as in T2, and zero line. The only drawback of T4 is that if you plan to use MRT to get to the city you will need to catch the free shuttle to T2 first.
