Hi

The background to the coffee carts is that we had a review of the benefits that provided to meeting hosts and decided that adding coffee carts, funded from the existing host fee, would give hosts more value from their commitment, provide ongoing promotion of the meeting host throughout the meeting, and of course be something that onsite participants would benefit from. We looked at a range of service providers, hours, capacities and costs and settled on two carts in the morning only. When we have the data (number of cups made, average time per cup, etc) then we will review to see if we should offer it differently (suggestions most welcome).

As to whether we offer it for every meeting, that depends on three things - will the venue allow us to do this (many do not allow third party caterers of any kind), are there suitable local providers, and is the local coffee good enough to drink (ok maybe that’s a bit subjective).

Jay
