I have definitely had it work on Ubuntu 24.04, on the ietf-hotel.
I seem to stick on the ietf-hotel SSID because I'm lazy.

Could it be v4/v6 issue?
I found that I did not always get/retain an IPv4 on ietf-hotel.
It got better over the weekend, I think. (Been here since Wed)
() My computer is not IPv6-MOSTLY ready)
