I believe what I responded was that yes, indeed it had been examined
and that there is a note to this effect in the draft.
Basically, no, the two formats are not compatible. The LLC format
wastes a lot of space. the lowpan format does not, but is not LLC
compatible. Assuming this was not a major issue, we opted for efficiency
when examining the tradeoff.
