I try hard not to open my laptop in sessions which I care about -- it's
much too easy to just glance at email during a poor presentation, and then,
suddenly everyone gets up and wanders out, and you realize you've just
missed the whole session.


Yup, the RFID were, iirc, on the mic stands, and worked really well.

I don't think the execution is relevant when it was obviously a bad idea in
the first place.
