Passed to me by a Czech friend, but I thought I’d share…

Krizik’s Fountain is a beautiful open-air show with water, lights and (mostly) live music.
https://www.krizikovafontana.cz/en/program/2017-07/29 - this is the calendar for the next week and what’s on.
I would highly recommend it, it’s a rather unique experience and the tickets are 8 GBP (!!) and you can buy them online.

Concerts in Mirror Chapel of the National Library.
https://www.pragueticketoffice.com/venue/clementinum-mirror-chapel/
A bit of “mainstream” classical music concerts focused mainly on tourists (as tickets are pricier than what normal Czech folks would be willing to pay), but compared to the UK, it’s still cheap.

Restaurants to eat in, both are in a very central location:
U Sadlu - http://www.usadlu.cz/en/ Medieval atmosphere in this underground restaurant, good Czech food and you might treat yourselves to a starter of sourdough toasts and spread from minced pork cracklings and lard. Goes very well with beer, but make sure not to eat too much as the food is great. A roasted rabbit leg with dumplings, yummy!

Brasileiro (Ambiente) - http://brasileiro-slovanskydum.ambi.cz/en/?land_off=1
This is a must if you like meat. You need to book in advance if you are going to be a larger group but from my experience you need to book in advance even if you are 2-3 people and want to get a table any evening of the week. I highly recommend it, you will pay an equivalent of ~25 GBP for the all you can eat option (Churrasco rodízio e salada bufféhttp://brasileiro-slovanskydum.ambi.cz/en/menu?id=22048). The price excludes drinks.

Pasta Fresca (Ambiente) - http://pastafresca.ambi.cz/en/ in case you feel like some nice pasta and fresh seafood. A decent restaurant which is among top 100 restaurants in the Czech republic. Prices more like in London and good quality.

If the evenings get really warm, you might also enjoy a trip to Yellow Spa -http://www.zlutelazne.cz/en/areal-a-sluzby
It’s an open-air Vltava river bank “spa”. It used to be (before the WW2) a real open-water swimming place, that’s not the case anymore. It was reconstructed and rebuilt cca 10 years ago and nowadays, it’s a place with open-air bars, sports ground and restaurants. During warm summer evenings one gets an impression of sitting in a Mediterranean harbor, especially if you are lucky and get a table on the beach. It’s a nice place to spend your evening at. Easy to access by public transport, there’s a tram stop called “Dvorce” a few meters away from the entrance. Google maps say that trams no. 2 and 3 will take you there.
