I agree with this erratum too! (disclaimer - I filed it back in 2022.)
Could we please proceed with accepting this item?  IANA cannot act in making the correction if we keep it in current state "Reported".

I agree that they should be lower case and that section 8.5 is incorrect when
it registers them as upper-case.
