This should have been rejected. A generic syntax is an overall syntax (as in not
specific to any scheme and therefore outside the scope of scheme definitions).
Treating this as a technical errata, rather than an editorial choice of which
equivalent synonym an author chooses to describe the technology, is just
begging for some fool to insist that a generic syntax does not place
technical constraints on the overall syntax (which it obviously does).
